Michelle Planche, CMP, is an accomplished award-winning event specialist and entrepreneur with over 27 years of experience in the event industry. She is an active member of the event industry, dedicated to giving back and raising standards of excellence. With over 17 years of experience teaching event management in colleges and universities, Michelle is committed to fostering professionalism within the industry. She is also a prominent industry speaker and mentor with 30 years of experience.
Michelle is the creator, founder, and producer of several large-scale events, including The Art of Fashion, Girlfriends Getaway Weekend, Community Craft Beer Festivals, and XMUS Festival. She has collaborated with organizations to develop signature events such as UHN Hospital Rocket Ride for Rehab, CNIB Summer Fundraising Event, Deerhurst Resort, and The Town of Bracebridge What’s Cooking Bracebridge.
Michelle has received numerous awards for her contributions to the industry, including the prestigious Event Producer of the Year award from the Star Awards. She has also been recognized for Best Public Event, Best Team Building Event, Best Logistical Achievement, Best Conference, and Best Entertainment Event, among others.
