The Entry Process

Click HERE to learn about all the different categories you can enter. There is a description and judging criteria for each to help you decide. Choose the one that best fits the work you are entering. Your company must have been directly responsible for the work being entered. For example, if you enter Best Food Presentation, you must be the caterer, not the client, unless you jointly enter the work.

Your entry will consist of questions explicitly curated for your category. Take your time and complete each question. You will be asked to describe your work, provide key details like date, location, venue (if applicable),  speak to goals, objectives, strategy, etc. then upload your images, video and other materials as required.

Additionally, you will be able to download a complete list of categories and a full list of all the judging criteria if you want to take a deeper dive into the criteria. 

After the portal closes, all entries are reviewed, judged and scored by a panel of experts from across North America. The judging is private and secure in our cloud-based platform. No one can share your entry information.  Nominations will be announced online in late March 2024 on our social media and website and you will also be notified by email. 

When you are ready to enter, click on the Enter Now button at the top of this page. Select your categories and register your company. You will receive a private pin you can use to revisit the entry portal to work on your entries until the deadline. The early bird deadline is February 18, 2024, and the final deadline is March 5, 2024. If you need assistance during the entry period, send us an email or use the chat button on this website to reach our team. 

If nominated, your work will be showcased by CSE on our website and social media. You will receive a digital badge and social graphics to share with your community and clients. Winners will be announced live at the Canadian Event Awards Gala on May 8, 2024, in Toronto. The event will be held during the CSE Live EventFest. Tickets go on sale in January 2024.
