The annual Nanny Angel Network (NAN) Angels & Heroes Gala was two months out from execution before COVID hit. It was the first event at the Toronto Zoo after COVID and it allowed them to follow all the COVID protocols that were in place at the time. 300 guests were invited on a scavenger hunt around the zoo and then received a prize at their exit.
At the end of the day, this event ended up being so financially successful for NAN that they decided to forgo their annual Gala in lieu of a Family Day and ESP Inc. was nominated for “Best Event for a Community-Based Charity.”

In lieu of the annual Angels & Heroes Gala, Nanny Angel Network pivoted to Angels & Heroes & Bears, Oh My! Zoo Day. NAN welcomed guests to the Toronto Zoo on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021, for a family-friendly, fun-filled daytime outdoor event.
This event invited guests to spend time with their families while discovering over 5,000 animals from around the world. Guests were treated to an adventurous day including a gourmet picnic lunch, wild encounters, activities and one big scavenger hunt!
