The Sponsorship & Events team, alongside the communications manager, hosted an unforgettable three-day conference in Niagara Falls for 750 Molson Coors employees, blending impactful content with entertainment and social events.
Planning kicked off eight months prior, with one of the first major tasks being the attendee list—a collaborative effort involving S&E, communications, and administrative teams organization-wide. To maintain maximum inclusivity, a SharePoint site was set up to capture responses with no set cutoff date, allowing delegates to register right up to the event.
The S&E team then tackled travel logistics, with one to two team members coordinating flights and airport transfers for over 400 delegates, an immense undertaking in itself. As the event date neared, content planning took center stage. Initially led by the communications lead, responsibility later shifted to the S&E manager, who guided the content’s finalization and brought it to life onsite.
Presentation theatrics were integrated, adding energy to sessions and helping bring the agenda’s key messages into focus. The conference included an interactive Family Feud game, impactful guest speakers, engaging panel discussions, and various presentations, making it a resounding success.w
Evening activities saw the S&E team infusing their creative flair into themed social events, including a high-energy party at the Niagara Power Station, under the Coors Light brand. The team worked tirelessly to create a memorable experience, delivering a night guests won’t soon forget.
