Who needs Kevin Bacon? Kathy loves exploring how everyone is connected, and has a knack for finding those connections in under the proverbial six degrees. Best part is, she connects in a way that develops perfect partnerships and, more often than not, relationships for life. Whether you’re a glitzy Hollywood type or a salt-of-the-earth yogi, Kathy knows what it takes to make you and your business stand out. It’s a knack she’s been refining across more than 25 years in marketing and sales. Born and schooled in her own salt-of-the-earth Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (a name she loves to challenge her international connections to repeat), Kathy has worked all across Canada doing what she does best – Zumba – plus a few other thing for which she’s probably better known. She’s proven herself as the Director of Marketing at RedPoint Media & Marketing Solutions, and as Executive Vice-President for The Quantum Alliance. In those high-level roles, she created marketing strategies, developed key partnerships, and produced exceptional events. Excited by our growth, she’s bringing her talents, skills and big bowl of desk candy to the team.
Keri graduated from Mount Royal with a Certificate of Event Management, and fell in love with events while working with e=mc² events as a student. She worked her way from Contractor to Event Producer to Creative Director, eventually becoming a partner. And not the silent kind either—she admits to going slightly “Monica” at her own events. As Creative Director, Keri’s passion and expertise is demonstrated through her ability to understand client’s needs and translate their vision into customized event designs. Her keen understanding of diverse cultures and design fundamentals combined with an intuitive sense of future trends and technologies has helped her and her team produces multiple award-winning events. Membership with the International Special Events Society (ISES) – both locally and Internationally, and participating and speaking at international conferences provide continuous inspiration as well as a great excuse to dust off the trusty backpack. In March 2014 Keri was honoured to receive the Canadian Event Professional of The Year award, which sits proudly in her office. Day to day, Keri sets the highest production standards, stimulates ideas within the event team and lives for the “whiz bang”—that explosive moment where she – and her clients – know they’ve really nailed it.
